Phonecall response came in at 17h10, which I found impressive as I'd only sent an e-mailed query at 16h35 - only 35 minutes earlier. Project at very early stage as yet, hence no fifth star. Hopefully, the follow-up will match the eagerness. Neil O'Brien, architect

Very quick response to email enquiry and given details of an installer close by. Only one comment - having the phone call from BFT flag up as an international call, made me initially think it was an unwanted sales phone call!

BFT were very quick to respond to my enquiry email and when they did they were polite and helpful. Within 5 minutes of hearing from BFT, I received a call from the local contractor they recommended, who was available to meet a few days later.

Great site, great idea. BFT came back promptly with a suggestion of a good local firm: just what I needed, so I could avoid trawling through all the hundreds of possibilities on the net still not knowing who was any good. After being charged over £4500.00 for an electric gate and not being shown how to "add" or "reload" my FOBs by the initial installer (Midland ........ ) based in Leicester and who did NOT respond to any of my voice messages or e-mails, I had to pay another company based in Notts, £301.40 to get three new FOBs. These FOBs recently stopped working and as a pensioner I could not afford the high cost of calling out this Electric Gate D..... and was at a lost as to how to get my Remote FOBs activated. I asked Customer services at BFT Automation UK Ltd, (at Unit B Aerial Business Park, Membury, Berks RG17 7RZ) for help. Their operative immediately ask me to go to the control unit and he proceeded to give me instructions over the phone. Although I initially had a little difficulties in following the instructions, he was very patience, and guided me through the process to get the FOBs working again. He stayed on line while I attempted to "reload" another FOB by myself using the instructions. I did this successfully. I can now help myself in the future. The operative who dealt with my request for help, was extremely supportive and was a credit to his organisation. I can only add "one gets what one pays for..." BFT for me shall be the first point of all for any future work, and I would recommend them very highly for their Customer Care/Support.
